The Robert J. Kadner Memorial Fund
The Robert J. Kadner Memorial Fund was established in August 2005 as a tribute to Robert Kadner’s outstanding career in teaching and research in microbiology at the University of Virginia. The fund supports the Robert J. Kadner Lectureship on the Frontiers of Bacterial Physiology.
The annual lecture/symposium will feature the nation’s leading scientists in the fields of bacterial pathogenesis and physiology, including many of Bob’s own students and fellows. The lectureship honors Robert Kadner’s enthusiasm for science and his zest for learning about the unknown.
If you wish to make a tax-deductible donation to the Robert J. Kadner Memorial Fund, please contact the School of Medicine Development Office, who can assist you. The Development Office accepts gifts via credit cards, checks, automatic bank drafts and pledges.
