Associated with the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology (MIC), the Gioeli Lab works to understand the mechanistic underpinnings of the cell signaling network that contribute to cancer progression and resistance to therapy.

We are identifying signaling pathways that compensate for androgen ablation in prostate cancer, looking for combinatorial therapeutic targets in a variety of solid tumors, and developing a novel tumor microenvironment model to interrogate host-tumor interactions and evaluate cancer therapeutics.
