ER Chlamydia inclusion membrane

Part of the Chlamydia inclusion membrane makes close contact with the endoplasmic reticulum. These platforms are termed ER-Inclusion membrane contact sites. A schematic representation with the ER in green (left) and an electron micrograph (right) are shown.
