We would like to welcome our newest member to the department! Melanie Rutkowski, PhD has an appointment with the UVA Cancer Center, is a full member of the Carter Immunology Center and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology. Her research interest is “Influence of commensal microbes on immune homeostasis, anti-tumor immunity, and metastasis.”
